Still just a few miles ahead of Maltese Flacon.. and going well despite the crew having to practice their sewing skills.

"......So after a rather tense start with all the traffic we waved goodbye to Newport and made good speed to the first mark. Unfortunately our new spinnaker  lasted all of 2 min before self destruction for no apparent reason - this of course was disappointing (and not acceptable), but the boys did a good job of putting it back together.

We made a few loses not having the bigger spinnaker but managed to limit the damage. We now have the big spinnaker up again and making good speed again.
